With the esports industry becoming increasingly more relevant worldwide, the Jaxon mobile app aims at serving a massive fanbase by providing users with an easily accessible mobile esports news experience.

Like many newly launched mobile apps in a very competitive space, the Jaxon team needed to create a strong App Store Optimization strategy that would deliver results in the short term and ensure a long-term positioning for key game titles.

ASO STOREFRONTS AUDIT

Our ASO team started the project by working on an in-depth audit of both countries, identifying key opportunities to increase visibility and discoverability.

RECONSIDER THE VISUAL COMMUNICATION

Our graphic designers, together with the Jaxxon team, worked on a prioritization of the visual communication for the screenshots to improve conversion rate for both organic and paid traffic.

MANAGED ASO ACTIVITIES

Our ASO experts then focused on identifying and prioritizing those keywords that would have a higher impact on visibility and discoverability for both Storefronts.

The restyling of Jaxxon’s screenshots focused on shifting the attention to the main product features and USPs for the users. This approach proved significantly better as it gave back an increase in CVR almost immediately.

Our team decided to shift the focus from the Jaxon character to the gamers to have a stronger impact on users who landed on the Store Page.

The text on the screenshots was also modified to give more relevance to important keywords and increase the discovery time on the Store Page.

DESIGN CONTINUITY

We also decided to use a split-screen in the first screenshot so to invite users to discover more about Jaxxon unique selling proposition.
